Multi City Commute Project

Parts of GRUNEN are a bit off-balance when it comes to residential and jobs. This is especially true for Zweifingern, a city that invested a lot of money and effort into social facilities, hence became a magnet for immigration.

On the other hand we can find areas with huge industry parks but with no workforce in sight; e.g. the Philipp Mine Industry Park in Bai-North. What to do? Easy: send the residents from Zweifingern to work in Bai-North. Easy, really? Sims tend to not travel more than one city tile to find work. And if they do they take the shortest route to a further city tile – not the best.

That is what the Multi-City Commute Project is all about: Making the sims travel more than one tile in a direction I want. The Project is splitted in five parts that can be found here:
